We are continuing our Women in Research interview series with Ulrike Böhm to highlight some of the brilliant economists participating in the 8th Lindau Nobel Meeting in Economic Sciences. First up Luisa María Rodríguez Fajardo, a Cuban PhD candidate in finance at the University of Chile. Luisa's PhD advisor Alejandro Bernales is also a Lindau Alumnus of the 3rd Lindau Nobel Meeting in Economic Sciences (2008).

The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings deeply mourn the passing of Nobel Laureate Rainer Weiss at the age of 92. Professor Weiss (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) shared the 2017 Nobel Prize in Physics with Barry C.
